We were aching for a little wilderness this weekend and took the girls on a hike. We ended up hiking a little over three miles (a miracle if you know Greta very well) and really enjoyed the wildlife and differences from our usual hikes in Virgina. It felt like the perfect day. We topped it off by going to the Hawker stalls for dinner... everyone was happy ALMOST the entire time.... A miracle that will not repeat it self...... for some time anyway.
Are you serious you want me to walk back 1.4 K? With a bribe of chocolate dipped strawberries... she made it! |
Ha! That last photo is hilarious. What a fun hike...sigh, sigh. Wish we were there! Charlotte loved looking at the pics with me!
ReplyDeleteThat's one awesome hike you did. What a beautiful place you are in! Keep posting your adventures. I'm having fun reading them.
ReplyDeleteHi Jonette. Susan and I just finished reading your blog and we loved pics as well as your writing style.
ReplyDeleteI really plan on visiting next Oct, 2012 and already want to see the zoo;beach take walks and observe people 'saving face'.
The girls look great in all your pics.
By the way, I played golf today and have a lower back spasm; I miss you even more than usual.
Is Singapore really as hot as a DC summer?

We haven't done this with the kids yet. It's good to know it can be done! And I agree, I love that picture of you with ME on your back. Lovin the headband.
ReplyDeleteJust enjoying looking at the pix again tonight. Greta looks like she's growing taller!
