The eggs here are amazing. When you purchase them you don't go to the refrigerator section.... They are on the shelf next to check out. The way that it was explained to me is that in the west they scrub off the layer that protects the eggs and makes them need refrigeration. It is not unusual to find feathers and poop on them! But I have to say they are the BEST eggs I have ever had (except for the eggs fresh from the hen in Vonore TN)! They are even better than the farmers market at home.
